Sacramental records are important in the life of a Catholic. A Baptismal Record is the primary record of person’s status within the church (CIC, c. 535, § 2).

Sacramental records are private and not part of the public domain. Therefore, they are not open to the general public for genealogical research. We may only fulfill record requests made by an adult seeking their own records, or by the parent or legal guardian of a minor.
